CROSSBREED is a new-style, outdoor, strength and endurance event, combining elements from OCR, CROSSFIT and trail running. Open to any team of 4 ready to compete or just test themselves over the magnificent MILE.

 

A men’s and women’s team event , hosted at the GREEN MILE TRAINING CAMP Cardiff.

Only £80 per team.

COURSE LAYOUT

EXERCISE STATIONS 

 

15ft ROPE CLIMBS 

(As a team, split between you anyway, 1 person working at a time)

 

WOODLAND TRAIL RUN 

(team runs together)

 

BARBELL THRUSTERS 

(As a team, split between you anyway, 1 person working at a time)

 

LOG CARRY 

(team carry)

 

BURPEES 

(team synchronised - All four working at once)

 

PULL UPS 

(As a team split between you anyway, 1 person working at a time)

 

DUMBELL HANG SNATCHES

(team synchronised - All four working at once)

 

ROWING 

(As a team split between you anyway, 1 person working at a time)

The exercise station total reps can be split between the team anyway you like.

For example -  If you have a strong rope climber, they can do more, or all the reps to make up for the weaker climbers, and vice versa for pull ups or any other station.

​

*Burpees and dumbell snatches are synchronised.

*Total reps announced at event.

FAQ's
  • HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
    All Skill sessions, Challenges, Wim Hof, and Studio sessions are suitable for all fitness levels and abilities. However, the Trail Runs and some other sessions when needed will be split and scaled based on fitness levels. We do recommend a general minimum fitness level of being able to run 5k in 33 minutes or less, and easily complete the standard UK gym circuits class. We cater to all levels of fitness, from this recommended minimum level to the most advanced.
  • WHAT KIT SHOULD I BRING?
    Bring a day sack with your regular training items, such as a water bottle, 2x towels, and x2 spare kit. We highly recommend trail running shoes, but if not no worries You will receive a more detailed kit list by email in plenty of time before the day.
  • IS FOOD INCLUDED?
    Healthy snacks, fruit, bars, hot and cold drinks are provided throughout the day. Please bring your own Lunch (whatever works best for your training) The evening FIRE & FEAST BBQ at Basecamp is also included.
  • WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
    Cancellation Policy for The Green Mile Open: * If you cancel before 7 days of your booking, we can provide a full refund or reschedule your booking to the next available date. * If you cancel within 7 days before your booking, we are unable to offer a refund, but we can still reschedule your booking to the next available date.
