"We were born to move, and mobility and stability are an essential part of the way we move and life in general,” The GREEN MILE Body weight and calisthenics classes focus on the fundamentals such as- Push-ups, Pull-ups, Sit-ups, Rope climbing technique dips, and flexibility, but also programs such as muscle up progression or handstand workshops bring an element of physical awareness that is untouched in other areas of training. Aim & benefit for Members: There's no getting around it: bodyweight exercises are the foundation solid gains are built on. The movements involved in bodyweight exercises can help to increase that mobility and challenge the body's 'stabilisers' by using complete movements. This can in turn, lead to strength gains used in everyday life not just in the gym." Being able to lift or pull your own body weight is a fundamental life skill everyone should have. “Bodyweight exercises can be challenging but beneficial. Progressing the exercises is also very straightforward, so you can keep smashing goals by challenging yourself and building strength." ABILITY Our Bodyweight classes are for ANY ability, "Whether you're starting at zero and trying to do one press-up or you're a seasoned athlete, the GREEN MILE instructors pride themselves on offering rapid progression and technique to all members abilities on this class. Location: Basecamp gym, or the courtyard calisthenics gym.
